Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Takeru Kyle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kyle's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, I Like to Move It. Jones is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Pimp C. Skrypture, C$krilla ft. Bun B & The Isleys - One Day. James Jones told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, and Jack Bonds.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones misses the shot to the body.
Jones thows a body shot but no joy.
Jones thows a left - swing and a miss!
Jones paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Kyle with a nice cross.
Jones misses with a body kick.
Jones misses with a body punch
and Kyle counters with a thumping low kick.
Jones throws a jab when Kyle was well out of range.
Kyle misses with a takedown attempt

and Jones moves into the clinch.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Kyle lands a left hand that snaps the head of Jones backwards.
Jones tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Kyle takes an elbow to the forehead.
Kyle tries to pull guard but Jones forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
Kyle swings wildly with an uppercut but Jones uses good head movement to avoid it.
Jones misses with a body punch.

That's one minute gone in the round.
A short right from Kyle on the inside.
Nice body punch from Jones.
Kyle misses with a short punch on the inside.
Jones lands a nice elbow.

It looks like Takeru Kyle has been cut.
Jones gets through Kyle's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Jones misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Kyle lands with a left to the head.
Kyle misses with a punch to the body.
Kyle tries to pull guard but Jones forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Takeru Kyle. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Kyle pulls guard successfully.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

Kyle is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Jones frees his head nicely. Oh but Kyle has switched to an armbar! Jones is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
