The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Musashi tries to clinch up
and Caldwell counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Musashi tries to clinch up but Caldwell circles away and keeps his distance.
Musashi throws a head kick that Caldwell semi-blocks.

Caldwell has Musashi up against the cage in a clinch.

Caldwell manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.

The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Steven Caldwell.
Caldwell misses with a wild combination.
Caldwell avoids the head kick by Musashi.

Caldwell fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Musashi manages to avoid it.
No joy there for Musashi, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

and Caldwell moves into the clinch.

Musashi's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Both guys are working to get underhooks.
Musashi wants to break the clinch but can't.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Caldwell lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Musashi backwards.
A frustrated look appears on Musashi's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Caldwell gets through Musashi's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Caldwell cracks Musashi's jaw with two stiff jabs then ducks low and throws a soul-severing right uppercut to the mouth!! Musashi slumps to the ground with blood on his lips. The referee steps in before Caldwell can do further damage! This one is done, son!
