The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Threadgood jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Threadgood with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Hume ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Hume looks for the body kick but Threadgood saw that one coming.
Hume throws a hook but Threadgood avoids it easily.
Threadgood misses with a straight right.
Threadgood throws a half hearted mid kick.
Hume scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Threadgood misses the shot to the body.
Hume walks into a stiff left hand from Threadgood.

It looks like Sawyer Hume has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Threadgood throws a head kick but Hume moves out of range.
Hume throws out a loose jab but Threadgood uses good head movement to avoid it.
Threadgood shoots for a double leg takedown but Hume sprawls well. He's pushed Threadgood's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Threadgood misses the shot to the body.
Hume tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Threadgood manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Hume misses the shot to the body.
Threadgood is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Hume.
Threadgood moves out of range of the body kick from Hume.
Hume slips a straight right by Threadgood.

Hume lands a glancing blow to the side of Threadgood's head.
Threadgood throws a big shot that misses.
No joy there for Hume, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

A nice inside leg kick there by Hume. That's going to slow Threadgood down.
Hume dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Hume lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Threadgood at a distance.

Hume uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Threadgood.
Threadgood ducks right into an uppercut from Hume.
Hume tries to clinch but Threadgood is having none of it.
Hume lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Hume blocks a low kick nicely.
Threadgood takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.

Hume forces Threadgood back against the cage and clinches.
Hume pushes off an throws an elbow but Threadgood leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.
Hume lands a shoulder strike.
A right hand to the body from Hume.
Hume digs a right hand into Threadgood's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Threadgood's gas tank.
A nice left hand lands by Hume.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Hume.
Hume avoiding damage.
Hume can't find room to land a body shot as Threadgood controls the action.
Hume pushes Threadgood back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Hume is pressed up against the cage. Threadgood has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Hume down to the mat. Hume avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Threadgood scores with the left hand. Hume knows he should have avoided that one.
Hume uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

Hume throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
Hume moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Hume connects with a right that clearly hurt Threadgood. He's backed up against the cage with nowhere to go as Hume proceeds to tee off with vicious combinations till Threadgood collapses and taps out under the pressure!
