Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Esteban Quando (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Christopher Ross (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ross has chosen Warrent-Cherry pie as his entrance music. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, George Francis and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ross's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Quando connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Ross scrambles back to his feet.
Some bone on bone action there as Ross checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Quando moves into the clinch.
Quando has had enough of the clinch but Ross keeps him there for the moment.
Ross has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Quando is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Quando's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Ross closes the distance and clinches up with Quando, looking for a takedown. Ross pushes Quando against the cage but Quando circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Quando throws a big shot that misses.
Ross darts in and clinches Quando up against the cage.
Ross should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Quando jumps into guard, dragging Ross to the mat.
This has been an exciting period of action!
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Quando holds on and takes a little breather.
Quando working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Ross.
Ross wanted to stand there but Quando had control of the position.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Ross throws a strike but Quando rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Quando stands up and waves to Ross to follow him.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Quando lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Ross has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Ross and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Quando really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Quando shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Ross sprawls well. Ross wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Quando gets slowly back to his feet.
Ross swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Quando counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Ross displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Quando throws out the jab.
Ross throws a right and a left that Quando avoids nicely.
Nice sprawl there from Quando as Ross shoots in.
Esteban Quando has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Christopher Ross.
Ross is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Ross moves out of range as Quando strikes.
Quando fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
It looks like Christopher Ross has been cut.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Ross has eaten all the pies!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Quando throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Ross sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Ross fails in his attempt to clinch.
Quando fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Ross manages to avoid it.
Quando fails to land with a series of punches.
Ross misses with a takedown attempt - Quando sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
No joy there for Ross, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Ross wants to clinch.
Quando swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Ross drives through with a takedown into guard.
Quando manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Ross manages to get himself to full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Quando decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Ross, up you get!
A big left from Quando misses.
Ross ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Quando throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Ross sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Ross throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Quando's waist but Quando gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Ross off to one side.
Ross looks winded!
Quando misses with a two punch combination.
Ross tries to clinch but Quando moves out of range.
Ross dives in and grabs Quando's left leg, looking for a takedown. Quando pushes down on Ross's head and hops out.
Quando fails with an attempt to clinch.

Ross takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Ross slips under a jab.
Quando leaves Ross with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Quando cracks Ross with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Quando scores with a jab. Ross acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Ross misses with a combination
and Quando scores with a counter punch that sends Ross to the canvas! Quando smells blood - he's punishing Ross with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Ross has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:21 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Esteban Quando!
