The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Emelianenko swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Chandler shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Emelianenko sprawls well. Emelianenko wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Chandler gets slowly back to his feet.
Chandler doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Emelianenko counters with a nice uppercut.
Emelianenko tries to bum rush Chandler with a series of wild strikes but Chandler uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

and Emelianenko counters with a straight right hand.

It looks like Michael Chandler has been cut.
Fedor Emelianenko has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Michael Chandler.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Chandler throws a lazy right hand but Emelianenko sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

and Emelianenko counters with a nice uppercut.
Emelianenko lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Chandler doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Chandler looks winded!
Emelianenko clobbers Chandler with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Emelianenko lands a big uppercut and this one is all over! His foe lies motionless on the canvas - a massive one punch knockout!
