Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Chunky Monkey!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Black Mamba!
The judges for this bout are Jeff Smith, Colin Fray and Chris Saunders.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Some wild striking there from Mamba.
Mamba chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Monkey can pounce on him.
Monkey wants to clinch.
Monkey is trying hard to land a takedown here. Mamba sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Mamba moves into the clinch.
Mamba is looking to take this one to the mat.

Monkey breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Monkey closes the distance but Mamba moves to the side

and Mamba counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Monkey tries to get to full guard but Mamba has control of the leg.
Mamba moves nicely into side control.

Mamba has hold of Monkey's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Monkey seems comfortable defending it but Mamba has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Monkey is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Monkey is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Mamba couldn't care less - he's delighted!
