The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ass decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Ass trying to mount his opponent but Campbell defends it.
Ass is trying to control the action in half guard but Campbell is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Campbell really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Ass. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Campbell is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Ass pulls his head out easily.
Ass winds up and cracks Campbell with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

Ass seems to be working for a kimura but Campbell defends the submission attempt.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Ass shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Campbell's guard.
