The key to victory for Stefano Dufinbeger has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Johnnie Wait!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Excellent takedown into side control there by Wait.
Dufinbeger avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Wait.
Dufinbeger is trying to escape and get back to his feet.
Wait working the ground and pound but Dufinbeger is defending the strikes.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Wait throws a chopping leg kick but Dufinbeger manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Wait with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Dufinbeger to score with a decent uppercut.
Wait will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

and Dufinbeger cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Wait throws a solid leg kick but Dufinbeger takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Wait.
Dufinbeger circles away from the clinch attempt.

Dufinbeger darts in and out, connecting with a jab.

Wait displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Dufinbeger.
Dufinbeger displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Wait throws out the jab.
Dufinbeger stuffs the takedown attempt from Wait. Wait gets slowly back to his feet.
Dufinbeger misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Wait tries to grapple but his opponent circles
enabling Dufinbeger to counter with a crisp jab.


That has opened up Johnnie Wait's cut even more.
Wait wants to clinch.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Wait waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Dufinbeger.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Stefano Dufinbeger will probably get the nod.
The cut man is working on Johnnie Wait's cut.
That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!

Wait shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Dufinbeger defends it nicely.
Dufinbeger digs a good body shot into Wait's ribs.
Dufinbeger works over Wait's head and body with a nice combination.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Wait misses with a takedown attempt - Dufinbeger sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Dufinbeger cracks Wait with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Dufinbeger has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Wait to stand back up!


Wait is rocked!
Dufinbeger closes the distance and lands a crisp combination that knocks Wait out cold! Wait corner are devastated, head in hands behind our commentary position. Poor guys.
