Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ross Stuart!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Dave Linsky!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stuart connects with a nice looking jab.

Stuart feints and as Linsky raises his hands in defense, Stuart changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Stuart being controlled here momentarily.
Stuart throwing strikes but missing.
Linsky wants to sweep but no luck.
Linsky utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Stuart has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Linsky avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Linsky is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Linsky preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Stuart working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Linsky's head.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Stuart working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Stuart missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.

Linsky pulls Stuart in close to his closed guard and prevents Stuart from doing any damage or advancing position.
Stuart throws a big elbow that misses.
Stuart lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Linsky wants to sweep but no luck.
Linsky is pulling down on Stuart's head to control his posture.
Stuart chips away with some ground and pound.
Linsky is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Stuart accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Linsky is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
Stuart throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Linsky works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Linsky looking to hit a scissor sweep but Stuart is one step ahead there.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Linsky is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
Linsky lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Stuart!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Linsky trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Stuart is trying desperately to improve position.
Linsky controlling the pace for now.
It looks like Linsky might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
Linsky's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Dave Linsky.
Stuart connects with a jab.

Stuart shoots in and bounces Linsky off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Stuart landing some decent shots from guard.
Stuart stands up out of Linsky's guard for a moment - Linsky manages to land a nice upkick.

Linsky is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Stuart chips away with some ground and pound.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Stuart is looking to work some ground and pound but Linsky has wrist control.

Linsky working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Stuart.
Linsky not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Linsky is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
Linsky wants to sweep but no luck.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Stuart in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Stuart with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Linsky is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Linsky is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Stuart is controlling him.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Stuart lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Linsky walks into a stiff left hand from Stuart.
Stuart lands a leg kick that knocks Linsky off balance momentarily.
Stuart keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.

Stuart scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Stuart thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Linsky's head.
Linsky works his way to full guard. Good work.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Linsky can do anything to dispel that myth.
Linsky is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Stuart trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Linsky has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
Linsky controls Stuart momentarily but Stuart frees himself.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Stuart throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Dave Linsky wasn't active enough on the ground.
The fighters circle momentarily. Stuart darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Linsky takes one to the chin there.

Linsky closes the distance and clinches up with Stuart, looking for a takedown. Linsky pushes Stuart against the cage but Stuart circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Linsky misses with a hook.

Linsky is breathing heavily.
Linsky on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.


Linsky is rocked!
Linsky tries to move into range but Stuart moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Linsky is still on wobbly legs! Can Stuart finish him?
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Stuart lands a lovely overhand right.
and Stuart counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts Linsky! He's just covering up as Stuart starts to tee off till the referee steps in and stops the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:59 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ross Stuart!
