Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Arana Kahui (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Luciano Bivar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kahui comes into the arena with Mustasch - Dogwash blaring out of the sound system. Bivar has chosen AC/DC Back In Black as his entrance music. Luciano Bivar is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
15 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Luciano Bivar!
The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Eddie Farnsworth and Lou da Vinci.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bivar throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Kahui lands a really nice looking cross but Bivar seems unphased.
It looks like Luciano Bivar has been cut.
Kahui moves into the clinch.
Bivar tries a body shot but Kahui blocks it.
Kahui misses with a hook from the clinch.
Bivar goes for a takedown attempt but Kahui pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Kahui lands with a hook. Bivar tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Bivar lands a high kick to the side of Kahui's head that stuns him and send him tumbling down to the canvas! Bivar dives into guard, looking to finish.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Bivar accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Bivar throws an elbow that misses. Kahui uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Bivar's guard. Nice move by Kahui!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kahui has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Bivar is proving hard to escape from.

Bivar tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Bivar is trying to trip Kahui. He has hold of a leg but Kahui is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Bivar persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Bivar is looking to sweep but instead, Kahui has passed into half guard.
Bivar is trying to maintain the position but Kahui is very close to passing his half guard.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Bivar is doing well to control the position and prevent Kahui from advancing to side control.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Kahui steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Bivar. That one must have hurt.
Bivar throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.

Kahui's jab looks to have found its range, popping Bivar under the eye.
Kahui thows a left - swing and a miss!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Bivar tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Kahui manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Kahui throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Bivar.
Bivar rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Kahui moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Bivar blocks a jab.
Kahui misses the shot to the body.
A combination from Kahui does no damage.
Kahui lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Kahui tries to bum rush Bivar with a series of wild strikes but Bivar uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Bivar moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Kahui tries to keep at a distance but Bivar has taken the fight into the clinch.
Bivar lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Kahui or not.

Kahui has a couple of punches blocked by Bivar.
Bivar goes for a takedown in the clinch but Kahui prevents it.
Kahui tries to work over Bivar's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Bivar is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body.

Bivar lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Luciano Bivar showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Oh Kahui is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Bivar tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
The fighters circle, before Bivar throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Kahui's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Bivar lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!
