Nice takedown defense from Pierce. No joy for Miranda on that attempt.

and Pierce counters with a head kick that drops Miranda to the mat! Miranda scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
A head kick by Pierce - that's a beauty! Miranda is out but he's somehow still standing... he's going... going... gone. Like a drunk walking down the middle of the road, the inevitable face plant follows and the delayed knockout arrives. Even Pierce can't help but laugh at the bizarre end to this one!
