Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ivan Drago (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Crazy Pete (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pete has chosen expendable youth as his entrance music. Both fighters really staring eachother down here, as Crazy Pete enters the ring!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Drago has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Drago and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Drago can't seem to implement his control oriented gameplan at the moment. That's no bad thing of course, for those of us who want to see a good fight.

It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Drago here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.

Drago lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Drago avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Pete.

Crazy Pete has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Pete working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
