Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, KT Turnstile!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Joe Miller!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Miller drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Turnstile bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Miller's guard.
Turnstile trying to control but Miller is working from the bottom.
Turnstile slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Miller wants to get back to his feet but Turnstile is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Turnstile with a flurry of punches that miss.

Turnstile is looking to work some ground and pound but Miller has wrist control.

Turnstile's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Turnstile throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Miller works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Turnstile just misses with a punch to the body.
Miller ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Turnstile throws a hook but Miller avoids it easily.

Miller dives in and scores a takedown into Turnstile's guard.
Miller wants to stand but Turnstile is controlling his posture from full guard.
Turnstile manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Turnstile jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Miller is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Miller and Turnstile has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Turnstile goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Miller has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Turnstile but great work by Miller.
Miller tries to stand but Turnstile is controlling his head.
Turnstile is trying to improve his position.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Miller wants to stand but Turnstile has his arm trapped.

Still in half guard, Turnstile seems content to control.

Turnstile wants to advance to full mount but Miller doesn't think that's going to happen and regains full guard instead.
Miller is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Turnstile content to stall in guard here.
Miller is looking to stand up but Turnstile isn't so interested in that idea.
Miller avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.

Turnstile throws a strike but Miller rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Turnstile pulls Miller in to control the position.
Miller has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Turnstile is proving hard to escape from.

If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Miller wanted to stand there but Turnstile had control of the position.
Turnstile wants to sweep but no luck.
Turnstile has a closed guard, preventing Miller from standing up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that KT Turnstile will probably get the nod.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!



Turnstile closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Miller quickly recovers to half guard.
Turnstile throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.

Turnstile looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Turnstile is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Miller doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Turnstile.
Turnstile sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Miller defending well though.

Turnstile missing with the ground and pound from half guard.
Turnstile looks to land a strike but Miller avoids it nicely and regains full guard.
Turnstile pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Miller is keeping the position for now.
Turnstile postures up and lands a big shot to Miller's brow.

Turnstile drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Miller manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Turnstile has Miller in his guard.
Miller is looking to stand up but Turnstile won't let him.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Turnstile is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Turnstile has a closed guard, preventing Miller from standing up.
Turnstile wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
Miller wants to stand but Turnstile is controlling his posture from full guard.

Turnstile throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Miller wanted to stand there but Turnstile had control of the position.

Turnstile wants to sweep here but Miller controlling him for the moment.
Miller tries to stand but Turnstile is controlling from the bottom.

Turnstile is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Miller wants to stand but Turnstile is controlling his posture from full guard.
KT Turnstile overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Miller is fighting to break Turnstile's control of his arms but Turnstile is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

Miller is looking to stand up but Turnstile won't let him.

Turnstile lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Miller!
Turnstile postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Miller looks a forlorn figure.

Turnstile working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Miller turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Turnstile off and cradles Miller's limp body as Turnstile celebrates with his corner.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:46 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Anaconda Choke). KT Turnstile!
