Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hanz Constantent (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sven Thorsen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Constantent misses with a hook to the body

and Thorsen moves into the clinch.
Constantent jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Thorsen walks away with a smile on his face. Constantent gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Thorsen dives in and grabs Constantent's left leg, looking for a takedown. Constantent pushes down on Thorsen's head and hops out.
Constantent could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Thorsen closes the distance looking to clinch

and Constantent counters with a nice double leg into guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Thorsen is on top in guard.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Constantent wants to control his opponent's hands but Thorsen gets his hands free.
Constantent is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Thorsen is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
Constantent is keeping busy.
Thorsen lands with a couple of good shots - one to the side of the head and one questionable shot that could be viewed as to the back of the head but the referee lets it go.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Constantent wants to control his opponent's hands but Thorsen gets his hands free.

A close round but Sven Thorsen will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Constantent gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Constantent is looking to stand up but Thorsen isn't so interested in that idea.
Thorsen is pushing down on Constantent's leg trying to pass to half guard. Constantent is fighting to maintain full guard but Thorsen has managed to sneak the leg through.
Constantent is pressing down on Thorsen's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

Constantent has his foot on Thorsen's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Thorsen works his way back into a safe position though.
Constantent wants to sweep but no luck.

Thorsen stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Constantent swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Constantent keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Thorsen takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Constantent feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
