The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Gaudette has the Thai plumb, controlling the head nicely. He loads up with a big knee to the head and James goes down! Gaudette pounces into side control - this one could be over soon!

James is rocked!
Gaudette is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down James's shoulder. That is not cool.
Oh James is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Gaudette decides to stand back up. Gaudette steps back and let's James get back to his feet.

Gaudette really doesn't want to stay on the ground with James. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Well Gaudette has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
