Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ivan Kudric (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jon Persson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, James Atkins and Phil Schofield.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Persson attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Persson scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.

It looks like Ivan Kudric has been cut.
Kudric closes the distance and clinches up with Persson, looking for a takedown. Kudric pushes Persson against the cage but Persson circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Kudric tries to close the distance and clinch up but Persson swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Persson bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Persson shoots in but no luck this time.
Jon Persson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Persson moves into the clinch.
Persson on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.

Persson pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Persson loads up on a big right hand but Kudric slips the punch.

Persson rushes Kudric and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Persson has Kudric pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Kudric manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Kudric pulls guard effortlessly.
Kudric controls Persson momentarily but Persson frees himself.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Persson accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Persson got a little sloppy there for a moment and Kudric has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Persson has managed to get both his arms back between Kudric's legs - danger averted.

Persson wants to stand and escape but instead Kudric has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
Persson wants to sweep but no luck.
Persson seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Persson can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Kudric controls the pace.
Persson keeping moving, preventing Kudric from controlling successfully.
Kudric might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Kudric trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Kudric changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Persson tries to avoid it but Kudric manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Persson to the ground. Persson escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Persson bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Kudric's head.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Kudric misses with a takedown attempt - Persson sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ivan Kudric. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Kudric shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Persson defends it nicely.
Kudric shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Persson counters with a deadly accurate combination that rocks Kudric badly! He tries to strike back but Persson puts an end to that with another precision combo that knocks Kudric out cold! Oh man, Kudric will never hear the end of this one!
