Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Hannibal King!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Rich Bell!
The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, James Atkins and Richard Clark.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bell shoots for a double leg takedown but King sprawls well. He's pushed Bell's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

King closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - King lands in his opponent's guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Bell looking to hit a scissor sweep but King is one step ahead there.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
King stands and throws Bell's legs to the side, diving into side control.
King scores with punches from side control.
Bell takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
Bell trying his best to control but King has mounted him.
Bell is in all sorts of trouble here.
King has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Bell tries to hold on but King pushes him away.

King's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
Bell really doesn't want to stay on the ground with King. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

King is landing with some decent strikes but Bell is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The referee warns Bell that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

King is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! King extends the arm and Bell is forced to tap!
