The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Myers closes the distance and clinches up with Nalfiah, looking for a takedown. Myers pushes Nalfiah against the cage but Nalfiah circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Nalfiah digs a good hook to Myers's body.
Nalfiah tries to clinch but Myers moves out of range.
Myers takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Josh Nalfiah seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Myers looks gassed!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Nalfiah lands with a cross.
It looks like Deiter Myers has been cut.
Nalfiah ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Nalfiah throws a big overhand right that connects, sending Myers tumbling to the canvas!
Myers is rocked!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Nalfiah tries to free his leg and advance position but Myers is retaining full guard.
Nalfiah has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Myers keeping moving, preventing Nalfiah from controlling successfully.
Myers has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Nalfiah has passed into side control.
Nalfiah in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Myers is tapping! That's the end of the fight!
