Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the welterweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Sergei Karzamoff!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Young Tupac!
The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Aleksandr Martynov and Konstantin Menshow.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Karzamoff lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Karzamoff.


It looks like Young Tupac has been cut.
Tupac slips a jab from Karzamoff.
Tupac changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Karzamoff tries to avoid it but Tupac manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Karzamoff to the ground. Karzamoff escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Karzamoff misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Tupac closes the distance and clinches up with Karzamoff, looking for a takedown. Tupac pushes Karzamoff against the cage but Karzamoff circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Tupac misses with a takedown attempt - Karzamoff sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Sergei Karzamoff has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Young Tupac.
Karzamoff misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Tupac changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Karzamoff looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Karzamoff gets back to half guard.
Karzamoff is looking to escape.

Karzamoff makes his way to full guard, as Tupac worked for a kimura.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Tupac prevents Karzamoff from getting back to his feet.

Karzamoff uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Tupac shoots for a double leg takedown but Karzamoff sprawls well. He's pushed Tupac's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Karzamoff uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Tupac.
Karzamoff tries to bum rush Tupac with a series of wild strikes but Tupac uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Tupac scores a takedown into full mount!
Tupac looking to take Karzamoff's back but Karzamoff rolls and after a scramble, Karzamoff ends up on top in guard. Nice escape there from Karzamoff to escape a tricky position.

Tupac is looking for a triangle but Karzamoff pushes his legs off easily.
Tupac looks gassed!

Tupac is working an open guard so Karzamoff takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

Tupac gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Karzamoff gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Tupac.

Karzamoff escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Karzamoff tries a head kick but it misses.
Karzamoff keeps the fight on the outside.
Tupac slips a jab and a cross from Karzamoff.
Tupac shoots in looking for a takedown. Karzamoff tries to sprawl out of it but Tupac keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Karzamoff manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Young Tupac seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Karzamoff lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Tupac throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Karzamoff's waist but Karzamoff gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Tupac off to one side.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Karzamoff lands a nice shot that snaps Tupac's head back.
Karzamoff will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Karzamoff throws an overhand right that has Tupac reeling! Karzamoff follows up with more punches and Tupac is out cold! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:02 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Sergei Karzamoff!
