Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Serginho Moraes!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Danny Glover!
The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Hugh Johnson and Winston Howard.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Glover drops Moraes with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Moraes looks back up at him and smiles so Glover waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Moraes is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Glover lands hard precision jab right on the jaw that stiffens Moraes up and sends him tumbling to the mat! The ref grabs Glover from behind before he can pounce. Some folks in the crowd didn't like that stoppage, but I saw Moraes's eyes roll way back in his head, he was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Danny Glover!
