Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Deadguy Deftone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thorin Odinson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Odinson has chosen I will not bow (Breaking Benjamine) as his entrance music. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Thorin Odinson enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Gregory Folan and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Odinson throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Odinson scoring well with a low kick there.
Odinson takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
A combination from Odinson does no damage.
Deftone tries to close the distance and clinch up but Odinson swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Deftone throws a right and a left that Odinson avoids nicely.
Odinson drives through and clinches with Deftone against the cage.
Odinson landing some nice looking knees to the body.
Deftone takes an elbow to the temple.
Odinson lands with a short head shot on the inside.

Deftone throws an elbow but it misses.
Deftone tries to break the clinch but Odinson is controlling the position.

Odinson changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Deftone fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Deadguy Deftone has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Thorin Odinson.

A looping hook to the body misses from Odinson. Deftone does a little dance to reset his feet.
Odinson avoids the head kick by Deftone.
Deftone tries to close the distance and clinch up but Odinson swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Odinson cracks Deftone with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Deftone tries to clinch up but Odinson circles away and keeps his distance.
Odinson is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
A head kick misses from Odinson.
Deftone throws a right and a left that both miss.
Odinson gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Odinson digs a right hand underneath Deftone's ribcage. Deftone let out a lung full of air as it connected.

Odinson is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Deftone tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Odinson avoids it.
Odinson lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Deftone backwards.
Odinson lands an elbow that stopped Deftone in his tracks for a moment.

Deftone presses Odinson against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.
Odinson with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Odinson gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
Odinson trying to control the position from guard on top but Deftone is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Odinson wants to pass the guard but Deftone is keeping the position.
Deftone is looking to stand up but Odinson isn't so interested in that idea.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Odinson accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Odinson controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Deftone on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Deftone tries to get out of the position.
Odinson works a leg free and moves into half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
