Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Dalton Pressnell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Artiom Antonov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Antonov is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Move Bitch. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 5 - 2, fighting out of St Petersburg, Dalton Pressnell!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Artiom Antonov!
The judges for this bout are Konstantin Menshow, Ivan Kurochkin and Illya Tyunina.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pressnell displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Antonov.
Pressnell misses with a leg kick.
Nice sprawl there from Pressnell as Antonov shoots in.

Pressnell instigates a clinch.
Antonov goes for a takedown attempt but Pressnell pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Dalton Pressnell has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Artiom Antonov.
Antonov lands a nice leg kick that just misses Pressnell's sensitive parts.
Pressnell scores with a jab. Antonov acknowledges it with a nod of the head.

Antonov closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Pressnell did well to prevent Antonov getting side control.

Antonov drops back looking for a leg! Pressnell is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Pressnell manages to kick Antonov off! Antonov jumps back into Pressnell's guard.

Antonov is looking to work some ground and pound but Pressnell has wrist control.

Antonov drops back, looking for a kneebar! Pressnell looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Pressnell looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Pressnell!

Antonov misses with an elbow from the bottom.
Pressnell throwing shots but missing, from side control.

Pressnell looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
I wouldn't like to be where Antonov is right now.
Antonov wants to control but Pressnell postures up.

Pressnell tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Pressnell has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Antonov struggling a bit here.
Antonov is looking to get back to his feet here but Pressnell is keeping cool and he's managed to take Antonov's back.
Antonov turns into Pressnell and is now in his guard.

Pressnell avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Antonov trying to control but Pressnell is working from the bottom.
Pressnell is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Antonov is controlling him.
Antonov passes Pressnell's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Antonov is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Pressnell!

Antonov can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Pressnell is looking to escape.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Artiom Antonov dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.



Antonov has taken the fight to the clinch.

Antonov turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Antonov manages to end up in side control.
Pressnell is trying to control Antonov's posture but Antonov avoids it.
Pressnell is letting Antonov control him for a moment.
Antonov trying to control the position but Pressnell is working away.

Pressnell sneaks out the side door and pushes Antonov away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.
Antonov shoots in looking for a takedown but Pressnell manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Antonov's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Sloppy strikes from Antonov. Those never looked like landing.
Dalton Pressnell is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Horrible takedown by Antonov or perhaps it was just good defense by Pressnell which made him look bad.
Antonov doesn't manage to clinch there - Pressnell circles away.
Antonov tries a head kick but it misses.
Artiom Antonov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Antonov takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Antonov is breathing heavily.

Pressnell darts in and clinches Antonov up against the cage.
Pressnell is trying to pull guard but Antonov turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
Antonov wants to take the fight to the mat but Pressnell manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Dalton Pressnell has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Artiom Antonov.
Antonov tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Pressnell prevents the takedown attempt.
Antonov prevents Pressnell from breaking the clinch.
Pressnell gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Antonov.
Pressnell tries to pull guard but Antonov forces him back to his feet, against the cage.

Antonov is trying to pull guard but Pressnell turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Antonov tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Pressnell just stands there and leans against the cage.
Antonov fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Pressnell missing with knees to the body.
A frustrated look appears on Pressnell's face as he tries to break the clinch.

Pressnell tries to pull guard but Antonov holds him up against the cage and eventually Pressnell drops back down to his feet.

Pressnell wants to break free but Antonov has control.
Pressnell jumps guard but Antonov turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.

Antonov gets control of Pressnell's arms and successfully pulls guard. Antonov will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Pressnell drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Antonov manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Pressnell has Antonov in his guard.
Antonov is looking to work some ground and pound but Pressnell has wrist control.

Pressnell kicks Antonov off and gets to his feet.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Antonov throws a jab when Pressnell was well out of range.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Antonov pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Antonov shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Pressnell defends it nicely.

Pressnell has closed the distance and engaged Antonov in a clinch.
Pressnell misses with an elbow strike.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Antonov escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Pressnell stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Pressnell wants it to stay on the feet.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Antonov tries to close the distance and clinch up but Pressnell swats him away and circles back towards the center.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close second round but Artiom Antonov will probably get the nod - 10:9.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!


Pressnell throws a head kick but Antonov moves out of range.

Antonov gets a clinch.

Antonov escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Pressnell gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Antonov working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Pressnell doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Antonov is tightening it up a little... Pressnell has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Pressnell reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Pressnell taps out! Nice BJJ there by Antonov!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:59 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle Choke). Artiom Antonov!
Artiom Antonov tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
