The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The fight moves into the clinch position.
King's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
Blackmore throws a punch but it's blocked by King.

Blackmore's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Blackmore looks to land a right hand but King moved out of range.
King is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Blackmore tries to work over King's front leg with a kick but King checks it.
King checks a low kick from Blackmore.
Blackmore stuns King with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
King's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Blackmore connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! King scrambles back to his feet.
King fails in his attempt to clinch.
Nice defenses there by Blackmore.

Blackmore fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
King drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Blackmore uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before King has time to react.
Weed King seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

King closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Blackmore fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
A nice right hand lands inside from Blackmore.
King looking to throw knees to the head but Blackmore is blocking nicely.
Blackmore tries a body shot but King blocks it.
Blackmore misses with a short punch on the inside.
King is trying to stall.
Blackmore working aggressively here.
King stalling in the clinch but Blackmore improves position.

Blackmore tries to circle away but King has him pinned against the cage.
King misses with some punches.
King is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.

King blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Blackmore lands with a short punch from the clinch.

Blackmore's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Blackmore circles away from the clinch attempt.
King tries to clinch up
and Blackmore counters with a lovely straight right hand!
King tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Blackmore paws at him with a jab and circles away.
A punch lands to the side of King 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Blackmore ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
King is breathing heavily.

King throws a looping overhand right but Blackmore ducks down to avoid it.
King tries to clinch but Blackmore moves out of range.
Cody Blackmore is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
King darts in trying to clinch
and Blackmore counters with a left and a right... and another left... and another!! That last one turned off the lights! King has no idea who he is and is as he gazes up at the spotlights. Brutal knockout!
