Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Donnie Alto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Constrictor Boa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Constrictor Boa has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Donnie Alto's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Donnie Alto!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Constrictor Boa!
The judges for this bout are , Jack Bonds and Don Winkell.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boa looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Alto is fending him off so far but Boa persists. Nope, Alto circles away and we're back to standing.
Alto wants to clinch.
Alto wants to clinch up but Boa keeps it at a distance.
Boa shoots in but Alto avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Boa fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Alto avoids it really well and circles away.
Donnie Alto has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Constrictor Boa.
Boa tries to score a power double leg takedown but Alto sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Boa somewhat.
Alto works over Boa's head and body with a nice combination.
Alto rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Boa moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Alto misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Boa darts in looking for a takedown but Alto gets double underhooks and turns Boa into the cage.

Alto breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Boa tries to keep at a distance but Alto has taken the fight into the clinch.

Boa works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Alto looking to hit a scissor sweep but Boa is one step ahead there.
Alto is trying to control the position but Boa postures up.
Alto wants to sweep here but Boa controlling him for the moment.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Boa keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Alto's head.

Boa throws an elbow that misses. Alto uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Boa's guard. Nice move by Alto!

Boa is looking for a triangle but Alto pushes his legs off easily.
Alto has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Boa escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Alto gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Boa holds on and takes a little breather.

Alto got a little sloppy there for a moment and Boa has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Alto has managed to get both his arms back between Boa's legs - danger averted.
Alto in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Donnie Alto just wasn't active enough.
Alto cracks Boa with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Boa shoots in looking for a takedown. Alto tries to sprawl out of it but Boa keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Alto manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Alto fails to land with a series of punches.

Boa fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Alto throws a jab but it's blocked by Boa.
Boa tries for a takedown but Alto sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Boa changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Alto tries to avoid it but Boa manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Alto to the ground. Alto escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Boa misses with a takedown attempt - Alto sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Boa tries for a takedown but Alto sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
A right-left combo lands from Alto.
Alto lands an overhand right.
Alto misses with a jab, cross combination.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Boa trying to control the position from guard on top but Alto is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Boa working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Donnie Alto will probably get the nod.

Boa wants to control from the top but Alto keeps moving.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Boa sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Alto's guard.
Boa moves into full mount! Alto won't be happy about that!
Boa won't let Alto get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.

Boa jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Alto manages to avoid the submission attempt.
Boa creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.
