The crowd seem to be enjoying Bundy's choice of entrance music: God Hates a Coward. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 36 - 18 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Alan Bundy!
The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Daniel Bishop and Donald Grub.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bundy avoids a kick to the body.
Bundy has his takedown stuffed
and James counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
James throws a sloppy head kick

and Bundy counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in James's guard now.
Bundy is fighting to break James's control of his arms but James is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

James wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Bundy breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Bundy lands a really nice looking cross but James seems unphased.

and Bundy takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

so Bundy counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

James is trying to control the position from the bottom.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Rick James will probably get the nod.
That's time! James's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.

and James counters with a head kick that wobbles Bundy - left then right he sways and one more bomb from James sends him down. This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:52 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Rick James!
In his post fight interview, Rick James started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
