The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Al Shami lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Al Shami.

No luck with that takedown attempt from Kjellstrom.
The fight stays on the outside here - Kjellstrom looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Kjellstrom has his foot on Al Shami's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Al Shami works his way back into a safe position though.
Al Shami stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Kjellstrom swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Kjellstrom is pulling down on Al Shami's head to control his posture.
Al Shami stands up over Kjellstrom, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Kjellstrom escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Al Shami gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kjellstrom has momentary wrist control but Al Shami slips an elbow through the middle.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Al Shami is in close to Kjellstrom's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Kjellstrom isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Al Shami stacks Kjellstrom on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Al Shami!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Naser Al Shami will probably get the nod.
That's time! Al Shami's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Kjellstrom misses with a wild body shot.
Naser Al Shami is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Kjellstrom moves in looking to clinch but Al Shami pushes him off.

and Al Shami counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Kjellstrom thinking.

Kjellstrom ducks straight into an uppercut from Al Shami and tumbles to the canvas! It’s a flash knockdown though - Kjellstrom manages to regain guard straight away.

This has been an exciting period of action!

Al Shami postures up from his opponent's guard, before exploding into some vicious ground and pound! Kjellstrom covers up, he's hurt! Al Shami keeps throwing the strikes, glancing at the referee... Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Al Shami and the ref steps in to end the fight! Al Shami can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.
