Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Solid Snake (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roberto Duran (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Snake changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Duran tries to avoid it but Snake manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Duran to the ground. Duran escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Snake could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Duran shoots and misses

and Snake decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Duran's guard.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Snake has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Duran throws a hook to the side of Snake's head but Snake sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Snake throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Duran's waist but Duran gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Snake off to one side.
Duran swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

so Snake counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

Duran stuffs the takedown.

Duran closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
