The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Redmunsta misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Faithful stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Faithful wants it to stay on the feet.
Faithful has been working on his boxing with his coaches at The Pitt in the buildup to the fight.
Redmunsta dives in and grabs Faithful's left leg, looking for a takedown. Faithful pushes down on Redmunsta's head and hops out.
A punch combination from Faithful misses.
Redmunsta tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Faithful throws a series of punches but Redmunsta avoids them all with ease.

Faithful lands a left and a right that send Redmunsta crashing to the mat, dazed. Faithful thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

It looks like James Redmunsta has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Faithful pounces like a tiger and cracks Redmunsta with a vicious hook! Redmunsta is down but not out! Faithful follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!
