The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McConor closes the distance and clinches up with Osterlander, looking for a takedown. McConor pushes Osterlander against the cage but Osterlander circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

I was talking to Osterlander's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.

McConor bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet!

Osterlander drops McConor with a right and a left! Osterlander comes rushing in but McConor regains his composure and manages to keep Osterlander in guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Osterlander displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from McConor.

Osterlander steps into range and cracks McConor with a monster punch that buckles his knees! McConor flops backwards and Osterlander dives into his guard looking to finish!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

McConor throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Osterlander's waist but Osterlander gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing McConor off to one side.
Osterlander drops McConor with a straight left! Oh this is bad for McConor! Osterlander dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
