The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
GoldenGloves throws a good cross that connects.
GoldenGloves tries to bum rush Bennicio with a series of wild strikes but Bennicio uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Bennicio throws a head kick that half lands.
Bennicio looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? GoldenGloves is fending him off so far but Bennicio persists. Nope, GoldenGloves circles away and we're back to standing.
Bennicio fails with the takedown
and GoldenGloves counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
GoldenGloves drives through and clinches with Bennicio against the cage.
Bennicio fails to pull the fight into his guard.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Javier Bennicio. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Bennicio manages to break the clinch.
Bennicio shoots in but GoldenGloves avoids the takedown attempt easily.
GoldenGloves scores with the left hand. Bennicio knows he should have avoided that one.

GoldenGloves wobbles Bennicio with a right hand and the left hook that follows puts him on his rear! GoldenGloves dives in with a huge flying punch that connects right on the button and puts Bennicio to sleep! - What a violent and spectacular finish!
