Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Emaus Tamei (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Benjamin Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brown has chosen Goddamn Devil as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, William Gold and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Tamei.
Tamei fails to land with a series of punches.

Tamei tries to pull guard but Brown won't allow it.
With the two fighters working up against the cage, Tamei just misses with a elbow thrown towards Brown's brow.
Tamei has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Brown after a bit of a struggle.

Brown stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Tamei.

Benjamin Brown seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Brown misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Brown throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Brown chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Tamei can pounce on him.

Brown is pressed up against the cage. Tamei has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Brown down to the mat. Brown avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

A head kick misses from Brown.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Brown crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Tamei - the referee stops the clock and Brown gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Tamei. Brown manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Brown sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Tamei's guard.

Brown really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Tamei. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Brown seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Tamei manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Brown manages to get himself to full guard.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Emaus Tamei.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Tamei, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
