Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Krayzor Windfather (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Billy Pilgrim (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Windfather comes into the arena with All The Above blaring out of the sound system. Pilgrim is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Billy Pilgrim Has Become Unstuck in Time. This should be fireworks!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Windfather misses with a takedown attempt - Pilgrim sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Windfather lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.

Windfather escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Pilgrim gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Windfather postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Pilgrim is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Windfather, into his guard.

Windfather controls Pilgrim momentarily but Pilgrim frees himself.
Windfather looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Windfather here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.
Pilgrim wants to get up but he can't break Windfather's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Windfather wants to improve his position but instead Pilgrim has moved into half guard.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Pilgrim is bucking up trying to escape but Windfather cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
