Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Andy McCallum!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Terance Proctor!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Ian Loll and Dillan Fox.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Proctor scores with a nice head shot.
McCallum doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Proctor counters with a single leg into guard. McCallum didn't expect that.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now McCallum is on top in guard.
Proctor looking to hit a scissor sweep but McCallum is one step ahead there.
McCallum being controlled here momentarily.
McCallum wants to control from the top but Proctor keeps moving.
McCallum is looking to advance position but Proctor has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!
We've been hearing good reports from McCallum's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Proctor is keen to just control but McCallum is a slippery customer.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Proctor in particular looking to stall.
McCallum is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Proctor scores with a couple of nice shots.
McCallum is trying to get back to full guard.
Proctor is nestled in close to McCallum, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Proctor lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Proctor prevents McCallum from improving his position.
McCallum is trying to maintain the position but Proctor is very close to passing his half guard.
McCallum wants to get back to full guard.

Proctor seems to be looking for submissions.

Proctor is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. McCallum doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Proctor.

McCallum is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
McCallum gets back to full guard.
Proctor keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of McCallum's head.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Proctor passes into half guard.
McCallum moves into full guard.
McCallum keeping full guard, as Proctor tries to pass.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
McCallum is trying to keep Proctor in close.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Terance Proctor dominated that round.

McCallum misses with a takedown

and Proctor counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Proctor postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
McCallum might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Proctor working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of McCallum's head.
Proctor must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

McCallum has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Proctor can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

McCallum looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Terance Proctor has got the better of the ground game so far.
Proctor stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. McCallum swivels though and keeps the full guard.
McCallum not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Proctor throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.

McCallum tries to hold on but Proctor pushes him away.
McCallum is trying desperately to improve position.
Proctor scoring with strikes but McCallum is staying in there.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Proctor has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of McCallum's face.


McCallum is rocked!
Oooh a big shot lands for Proctor! McCallum is out! The ref dives in to save him from more punishment!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:26 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Terance Proctor!
An out of breath and clearly excited Terance Proctor thanked Backyard Fighting for their help and support (and free stuff they sent him).
Andy McCallum spoke after the fight, saying 'Sorry to all my fans for this loss. Didn't perform as well as I expected, but I will come back stronger than ever.'.
