Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Gaspar Gomez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dan Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Smith has chosen Sabaton- Metal machine as his entrance music. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 8 - 1, fighting out of London, Dan Smith!
The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Ben Zyskovitsi and Johanna Lukiainen.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Smith closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Smith lands in his opponent's guard.
Gomez looking to hit a scissor sweep but Smith is one step ahead there.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Gaspar Gomez.

Smith throws the left hand but Gomez avoids the punch easily.
Smith throws a shot from downtown. Gomez moves away and avoids it.

Gomez fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Smith to the ground. Gomez is now in Smith's guard.

Gomez got a little sloppy there for a moment and Smith has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Gomez has managed to get both his arms back between Smith's legs - danger averted.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Smith dives in for a single leg takedown but Gomez sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Gomez feints a jab promting Smith to slip. Gomez then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Smith slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
