Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Black Belt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chad Hardy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hardy has chosen Run this town as his entrance music. Black Belt had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Black Belt!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Chad Hardy!
The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Patrick Alders and Paulsen Ambrosius.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Belt misses with a takedown
and Hardy counters with a stiff right hand.
Hardy pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Belt back to the cage. Hardy follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

Hardy decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Well, if Hardy is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Belt wants to get back to full guard.

Hardy prevents Belt from improving his position.
Belt has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Hardy stands up over Belt, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Hardy seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Belt does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Belt has a hand on Hardy's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Hardy takes advantage of the position though and mounts him!

Hardy lands a heavy elbow.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Belt can't escape the position.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Hardy wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Chad Hardy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Belt defending well as Hardy loads up on a big left hand.
Belt tries for a takedown but Hardy circles away easily
enabling Hardy to counter with a crisp jab.
Hardy throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Hardy misses with a wild body shot.
Hardy swinging wildly here.
Belt walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.

Hardy scores with a sloppy right hand. Belt should have avoided that one.
Hardy swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Hardy misses with a left hand

and Belt counters with a shoot takedown. Hardy fights it but they end up in guard.
Belt with a flurry of punches that miss.
Hardy working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Belt.
Chad Hardy has got the better of the ground game so far.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Belt accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Belt drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Hardy manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Belt has Hardy in his guard.

Belt has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Hardy has passed into side control.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Hardy grinds an elbow into Belt's temple.
Belt tries to buck Hardy off but Hardy is having none of it.
Belt is not content to let Hardy control the position.
Hardy scoring with punches and elbows.
Belt regains half guard.
Belt is looking to improve his position.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Hardy throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Hardy is looking to take a break and control but Belt is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Hardy throws a big elbow that misses, also allowing Belt to regain full guard.

Hardy got a little sloppy there for a moment and Belt has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Hardy has managed to get both his arms back between Belt's legs - danger averted.
Belt is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Belt has momentary wrist control but Hardy slips an elbow through the middle.
Hardy won't allow Belt to sweep him here.

Belt looking for subs off his back but Hardy has passed one foot through into half guard.
Belt on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
Belt works his way to full guard. Good work.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Belt is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Hardy stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Belt swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Chad Hardy showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Hardy is rocked!
Hardy is working to get back to half guard.
Belt lands a heavy elbow.
Hardy is still in real trouble! Can Belt finish him?
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Belt cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
A big strike lands for Belt! That's really hurt Hardy and he's turned his back - Belt keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Belt jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:48 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Black Belt!
Black Belt took to the microphone after his victory and thanked his sponsors, Merciless Gladiators for their support in the buildup to the fight.
In defeat, Chad Hardy stepped up to the mic, saying 'As always I can do everything through Christ my lord and savior who strengthens me. Without him I wouldn't be here tonight. Don't worry I'll be back.'.
