The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Grant throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Bailey shoots for a takedown but Grant saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Bailey shoots in but Grant avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Grant misses with a body kick.
Nice takedown defense from Grant. No joy for Bailey on that attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bob Bailey. That's going to take a lot out of him.

and Grant counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

It looks like Bob Bailey has been cut.
Grant walks into a straight right hand from Bailey.
Grant lands a leg kick that knocks Bailey off balance momentarily.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Grant scores with a kick to the body.
Bailey is breathing heavily.

Grant lands a big uppercut and Bailey crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Bailey looks OK. Grant waves Bailey back to his feet!
Grant cracks Bailey with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Bailey tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Grant pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Bailey is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
