The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Monteiro looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Noi is fending him off so far but Monteiro persists. Nope, Noi circles away and we're back to standing.
Noi wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Noi utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Noi lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Monteiro!
Monteiro has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Noi takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Monteiro tries to lock up and control but Noi gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Let's hope that Noi has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Noi is looking cool and calm here, just waiting for a good opportunity to attack and finish the fight from this dominant position.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Deisel Noi hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Monteiro shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Noi but Noi pushes him off and we're back to square one.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Noi lands a nice leg kick that just misses Monteiro's sensitive parts.
Noi jabs Monteiro to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Monteiro is breathing heavily.
Noi tries a head kick but it misses.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Deisel Noi dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Noi smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Noi lands with a shot to the body.

A solid leg kick lands there for Noi.
Noi dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Noi pushes Monteiro away with a front kick.
Noi cracks the inside of Monteiro's front leg.
Noi wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

and Noi counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Noi stuffs the takedown attempt from Monteiro. Monteiro gets slowly back to his feet.
Monteiro has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Noi finds it's way round the side to connect with Monteiro's head.
Monteiro is rocked!

Noi cracks Monteiro with a brutal left hook that knocks him out cold! This one is over in a flash! Game over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:15 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Deisel Noi!
Post fight, Deisel Noi stared into the camera and said 'Nothing comes close to having your hands raised when you're not supposed to. When its not supposed to be. It's defiance. There's nothing sweeter than defiance.'.
