Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ming Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hanamichi Senju (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hanamichi Senju has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Ming Lee's chin.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Hanamichi Senju!
The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Steven Brown and Donald Grub.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Senju thuds his right hand into Lee's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

Lee closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Senju's guard.
Senju looking to hit a scissor sweep but Lee is one step ahead there.

Senju is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Lee is aware though and is defending well.
Lee postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.

Lee got a little sloppy there for a moment and Senju has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Lee has managed to get both his arms back between Senju's legs - danger averted.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Senju wants to sweep but no luck.
Lee is pushing down on Senju's leg trying to pass to half guard. Senju is fighting to maintain full guard but Lee has managed to sneak the leg through.
Lee has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Lee is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Senju sees it coming and defends easily.
Lee frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Lee lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.

Senju takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.

Senju is wriggling around trying to escape.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Lee lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Senju keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

Lee is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Senju to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Senju shrugs it off.
Lee is in the full mount, landing strikes.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Lee is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Senju has managed to escape the submission attempt.

Lee lands a couple of good shots and Senju has given up his back, trying to escape the position!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
You can see the frustration on Senju's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

Lee is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Senju knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Senju for a finish.

Senju is trapped and Lee is scoring with shots to the head and body.
Lee lands a shot to the head.
Senju tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell!

Senju is rocked!
Lee postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Senju in real trouble here! The ref calls for Senju to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ming Lee!
A relieved looking Ming Lee thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
