The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Both fighters circling a little - Benjamin finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Benjamin throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
Downtime tries a head kick but it misses.
Benjamin fails with the takedown.
Downtime misses the jab.
Benjamin tries to clinch but Downtime is having none of it.
Downtime paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Downtime lands with a slapping head kick.
Downtime throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Downtime misses with a hook. Benjamin ducked under it nicely.
Benjamin on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Benjamin.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Benjamin tries to score with some ground and pound. Downtime controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.

Benjamin lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Downtime down.
Downtime struggling a bit here.
Benjamin in side control, throwing shots but Downtime defends.
Downtime tries to bench press Benjamin off him but Benjamin keeps the position.
Downtime regains half guard.
Downtime is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Benjamin lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Benjamin misses with a head shot. Downtime uses the momentum to regain guard.

Downtime is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
