Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Cpl. Sam Fender (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wojciech Sakrucki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sam Fender and Wojciech Sakrucki. Fender comes to the ring accompanied by The Art of War. Sakrucki has chosen Kochana Polsko as his entrance music. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fender lands a nice hook to Sakrucki's body. Sakrucki takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
A cross from Fender lands.
Fender throws a shot from downtown. Sakrucki moves away and avoids it.
Fender misses the body punch
and Sakrucki counters with a nice uppercut.

It looks like Cpl. Sam Fender has been cut.
Fender has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Sakrucki shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Fender is refusing to be controlled, as Sakrucki sits in half guard.

Sakrucki is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Fender sees it coming and defends easily.
Fender is looking to improve his position.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Fender has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Sakrucki is working away from the top position though.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Sakrucki moves nicely into side control.
Sakrucki cracks Fender with a big elbow.

Sakrucki has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Sakrucki creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Fender sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
