Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Leon Barnett (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jonathan Bruf (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Leon Barnett!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jonathan Bruf!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bruf throws a right hand that Barnett ducks under and follows up with a left that Barnett also avoids with ease.
Barnett stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Barnett wants it to stay on the feet.
Bruf clinches.
Bruf wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Bruf has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Barnett after a bit of a struggle.
Bruf digs a right hand into Barnett's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Barnett's gas tank.
Barnett gets control of Bruf's arms and successfully pulls guard. Barnett will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Bruf looking to sit in guard and control but Barnett gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Bruf is adopting a defensive guard.
Bruf has momentary wrist control but Barnett slips an elbow through the middle.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Bruf tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Barnett drops back looking for a leg! Bruf is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Bruf manages to kick Barnett off! Barnett jumps back into Bruf's guard.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Barnett passes into half guard.
Barnett in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Bruf tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Barnett!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Leon Barnett!
After winning the bout, Leon Barnett thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
