The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Duch takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Summerfield is looking to slow Duch down with leg kicks.
Duch misses with a takedown attempt - Summerfield sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Summerfield stuffs the takedown.
Summerfield misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Duch.
Summerfield avoids the body shot from Duch.
Summerfield swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Duch takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Duch tries for a takedown but Summerfield sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Duch moves out of range as Summerfield throws a body kick.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Duch closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

Duch is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Summerfield is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Duch tries for a kimura but Summerfield is defending well.
Summerfield is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Duch is one step ahead and moves to full mount!

Duch working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet.
Summerfield tries to hold on but Duch pushes him away.

Duch is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Summerfield to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Summerfield shrugs it off.

Duch is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Summerfield can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Duch is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Summerfield has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Summerfield!
Duch really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Duch has his feet on Summerfield's thighs here. He's pushed Summerfield off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Summerfield screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!

After the fight, Ryszard Duch was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
