The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Snesrud throws a series of punches but Stone avoids them all with ease.

Snesrud gets a double leg takedown into Stone's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Snesrud trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Stone controls Snesrud momentarily but Snesrud frees himself.
Stone working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Snesrud.
Snesrud must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Snesrud postures up in Stone's guard and throws a big left but Stone blocks it.
Stone avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Snesrud really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Stone. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Stone is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Snesrud has his hands clasped together but Stone extends and breaks Snesrud's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Stone.
