Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Daniel Hathaway (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hanamichi Sakuragi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Left hook, right uppercut from Hathaway.

It looks like Hanamichi Sakuragi has been cut.
Hathaway delivers a nice body kick.
Hathaway tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Sakuragi was well out of range. Poor timing from Hathaway.
Sakuragi throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
A big left from Sakuragi misses.
Hathaway misses with a head kick.

Hathaway lands a big head kick that sends Sakuragi tumbling to the mat! Hathaway takes a step backwards and waves Sakuragi back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Sakuragi is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Hathaway throws a left and a right that both miss
and Sakuragi cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Sakuragi is still on wobbly legs! Can Hathaway finish him?
Sakuragi shoots in looking for a takedown but Hathaway manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Sakuragi's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Sakuragi throws a series of punches but Hathaway avoids them all with ease.
Hathaway finds Sakuragi's off switch, with a big overhand right that connects perfectly to the side of the head! Sakuragi flops back against the ropes, eyes gazing into the distance. Hathaway lands an unnecessary shot before the referee has time to step in and end the fight. Brutal stuff but I'm sure Sakuragi will be OK.
