Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jaromir Jagr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dominic Hashek (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jaromir Jagr!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Dominic Hashek!
The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Bruno Lombardi and Alyssa Summers.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jagr fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
A nice combination there by Jagr.
Hashek shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Jagr but Jagr pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Nice sprawl there from Hashek as Jagr shoots in.
Hashek throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped

and Jagr counters with a shoot takedown. Hashek fights it but they end up in guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Hashek controls Jagr momentarily but Jagr frees himself.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Jagr's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Jagr's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Jagr closes the distance and clinches up with Hashek, looking for a takedown. Jagr pushes Hashek against the cage but Hashek circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Hashek is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Jagr to keep the fight standing.

Jagr shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Hashek but Hashek pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Jagr shoots in and drives through. Hashek sprawls well.
Hashek ducks under a wild hook from Jagr.
Hashek misses the shot to the body.
Jagr looks for a takedown but Hashek sprawls well.

Jagr has taken the fight to the clinch.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Hashek fails to pull the fight into his guard.

Jagr tries to break the clinch but Hashek is controlling the position.
Hashek blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Jagr stops a takedown attempt from Hashek.
Hashek is defending well against a takedown attempt.

Jagr fails to pull guard.

Hashek breaks from the clinch.

Hashek closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Jagr quickly recovers to half guard.
Hashek wants to lay and pray for a moment but Jagr keeps working.
Jagr is trying to stand.
Hashek is pressing down on Jagr's thigh, looking to free his foot. Jagr is holding on for now.
Jagr makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Jagr.

Hashek wants to control from the top but Jagr keeps moving.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

Jagr has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Hashek off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Jagr darts in and clinches Hashek up against the cage.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Jagr digs a right hand into Hashek's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Hashek's gas tank.
Hashek is trying to break the clinch but Jagr is controlling him.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Jagr throws a solid leg kick but Hashek takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Jagr.

Hashek throws a right hand that Jagr ducks under and follows up with a left that Jagr also avoids with ease.

Hashek misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Hashek looks for a takedown but Jagr sprawls well.

Jagr's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Jagr duly obliges.
Horrible takedown by Hashek or perhaps it was just good defense by Jagr which made him look bad.

No joy there for Jagr, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Jagr scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Jagr closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Hashek wants to control the action here but instead Jagr manages to pass to full mount!

Jagr unloads with some shots from mount but Hashek bucks and avoids them well.
Poor strikes thrown by Jagr there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!

We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Hashek wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Jagr.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Jagr thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Hashek tries to pull guard but Jagr won't allow it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!



Hashek darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Jagr is trying to maintain the position but Hashek is very close to passing his half guard.

Jagr is controlling Hashek's trapped leg to prevent Hashek from advancing to side control.

Hashek will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Hashek throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Jagr tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Hashek is in Jagr's guard.
Hashek really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Jagr. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Jagr wants to sweep but no luck.

Hashek postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Jagr is on top in guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Jagr decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Hashek, up you get!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Jagr shoots for a double leg takedown but Hashek sprawls well. He's pushed Jagr's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Jagr is looking to clinch.
Hashek throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Jagr's waist but Jagr gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Hashek off to one side.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Jagr is defended easily by Hashek.

Dominic Hashek comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Jagr has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
