Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Wresler Mania (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lamar Odum (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Odum is looking to clinch.
A shot to the liver by Mania. Beautiful body shot.
Odum tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Mania counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Mania gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Odum tries to free his leg and advance position but Mania is retaining full guard.

Mania has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Odum can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Odum can do anything to dispel that myth.

Odum is looking for a sweep. Mania is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Mania throwing shots but Odum is blocking nicely.

Odum tightens his grip and picks Mania up, before dumping him to the ground. Mania manages to land in guard.

Odum wants to pass to mount but Mania is defending the position.

Odum is looking to take a break and control but Mania is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Lamar Odum was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Mania shoots in and drives through. Odum sprawls well.

Odum feints and as Mania raises his hands in defense, Odum changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Mania looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
Odum wants to get up but he can't break Mania's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Mania has momentary wrist control but Odum slips an elbow through the middle.
Mania is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Mania has a closed guard, preventing Odum from standing up.
Odum wants to control from the top but Mania keeps moving.

We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Mania shoots for a double leg takedown but Odum sprawls well. He's pushed Mania's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Mania swings for the body but Odum moves out of range.
Odum pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Mania tries to score a power double leg takedown but Odum sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Mania somewhat.

Odum closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Mania's guard.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Odum postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Mania is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Odum, into his guard.
