The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Tyson has closed the distance and engaged Leroj in a clinch.
Tyson lands with a light punch inside.
Tyson prevents the takedown attempt.
Tyson stalls.
Tyson letting Leroj take a breather here.
Leroj tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Tyson looks to throw an elbow but misses.
Leroj controlling the action here for a moment.

Leroj has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Tyson uses from the top position.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

Tyson wants to improve his position but Leroj is controlling well.
Tyson has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Tyson moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

Leroj is striking from the bottom but Tyson uses the opportunity to pass into half guard.

Leroj is looking for a sweep. Tyson is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Leroj is not content to let Tyson control the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Tyson looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Tyson has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Leroj defend it? Tyson steps over the head and cranks it - Leroj is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Tyson!
