Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Sir Jecht (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Patrick Mannelly (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jecht comes to the cage accompanied by The Lumberjack. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mannelly misses with a jab, cross combination.
Jecht tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.

Jecht scores with a head kick. Mannelly tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
Jecht feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Mannelly's calf.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Mannelly is trying to control Jecht's posture but Jecht avoids it.
Jecht will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Patrick Mannelly was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Mannelly throws a leg kick but Jecht checks it.
Jecht bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

A looping hook to the body misses from Mannelly. Jecht does a little dance to reset his feet.

Mannelly chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Jecht can pounce on him.
Mannelly throws a lazy right hand but Jecht sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

That was a close round but I would say that Sir Jecht will probably get the nod.

Mannelly swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Jecht.
Mannelly scores with a one two! Jecht had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Jecht looks to throw the jab but Mannelly is out of range.

Patrick Mannelly decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
