The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lai throws a head kick that Roads semi-blocks.
Roads scores with a body shot.
Lai throws a right and a left that Roads avoids nicely.
Roads tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Lai was well out of range. Poor timing from Roads.
Roads misses the shot to the body.
Roads ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Lai moves away.
Roads uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Lai.
Lai keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Roads.
Roads lands a body shot.
Lai looks winded!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Lai throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Lai pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Lai misses with a few strikes there.
Lai takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Roads is looking to wear down Lai with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Roads fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Roads dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Roads ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Lai with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Roads to score with a decent uppercut.

It looks like Kuai Lai has been cut.
Roads misses the shot to the body.
Lai gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Roads avoids the head kick by Lai.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Roads scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Roads misses with a body shot.
Roads lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Lai falls backwards - clearly groggy! Roads dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!
