Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Yster Best (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dick Tanner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tanner comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Mr. Tanner kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed right hand from Tanner misses the target.
Tanner connects with a right hand. Best shakes it off.
Best throws a lazy right hand but Tanner sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Dick Tanner seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Tanner takes a swing at Best's ribcage but misses.

Tanner lands a big right hand that sends Best crashing to the mat! Tanner stays standing though and waves Best back to his feet!

It looks like Yster Best has been cut.

Tanner moves in looking to clinch but Best pushes him off.

Best changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Tanner looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Best thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Tanner pushes Best away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Best gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
Best wants to control for a moment but Tanner uses the opportunity to move back to half guard.

Best wants to work for an arm triangle but Tanner is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Best takes an elbow to the temple.
Tanner makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.

Tanner is trying to stand up here but Best is controlling him well.
Tanner is staying active underneath Best, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Best stops Tanner from getting back to his feet.

Best is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Tanner sees it coming and defends easily.
Best throwing shots but Tanner is blocking nicely.

Tanner throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Tanner's corner calls for a 1-2. Tanner obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
That kick from Tanner tenderised Best's leg. Best is trying to keep his angry face on.

Best closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
